We take care of edging around trees and plants, follow it up with a thorough mow, and finish with a clean-up blow to ensure your lawn looks immaculate.

General Lawn Mowing

By far our most common service, this one does what it says on the box. We use our powerful mowers to trim your lawn, however small or large it is, and leave it looking great afterwards.

Lawn clipping removal

Some customers request that we remove lawn clippings, particularly those with smaller properties that lack disposal options. Please note that a small additional fee applies for this service, as we incur costs for green waste disposal.

 

Commercial lawn mowing

Our roster of regular commercial clients is impressive and is growing each month. We regularly service petrol stations, small shopping complexes, day care centres, and industrial sites.

 

Garden tidy up

Gardens can become overgrown, but we’re here to help. Our garden tidy-up service is especially popular among landlords and homeowners preparing to sell. We’ll remove overgrown bushes, shrubs, weeds, and other plants, and can replace them with fresh mulch or younger plants for a revitalized look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you mow when it’s wet or raining? 

Sometimes we may need to mow in the rain for our regular customers. If we wait an extra two weeks, especially at the beginning of Perth’s vibrant growing season, the grass can become too tall and thick, leading to unsightly results for the next service. Keeping a consistent schedule helps ensure your lawn always looks its best.

 

Are quotes onsite?

Typically, we don’t require an on-site visit. We can assess the lawn size and any obstacles using Google Maps to provide you with a “standard mow cost” along with an estimate for the “first mow.” For example, we might quote your regular mow at $65, with the first mow costing an additional $20–$40, depending on the conditions. Most customers appreciate this approach, as it allows us to schedule your job more quickly if you decide to proceed.

Do you do overgrown lawns?

Yes, we can clear overgrown lawns. Here are two important things to keep in mind:

First, you should expect to pay significantly more than for a standard mow, as it takes our machines much longer—up to four times longer—to handle overgrown grass.

Second, the initial cut may not look appealing. We’ll scalp the lawn, cutting it down low at the root level, so there won’t be any green blades visible afterward. It might look ‘dead’ for a while, but soon new shoots will begin to emerge. After about three or four regular mows, your lawn will start to look thick and healthy again.

How often should we get our lawns mowed?

The normal schedule for residential lawns is two-weekly, except for June to Sept which is usually monthly. Having them mowed less-often doesn’t work out any cheaper, because by the time we get there it will be thicker and more overgrown, and you’ll be paying a surcharge for overgrown lawns.

 

Do you do once-off mows? Yes

Yes, we do provide estimates. We can give you a price range and proceed with the job once you pay the lower end of that estimate. For example, if we quote “$140 to $190,” we’ll start the job after you’ve paid $140, with any remaining balance due upon completion. Regular maintenance is key to keeping costs down and your lawn looking its best.

 

What about homes with pets? We don’t mind pets, but please remember a few things:

- All pet poop needs to be cleared the day before we mow

- All bits and pieces like chew toys and bones also need to be cleared the day before

 

What payment methods do you accept? We accept cards or cash. All first-time customers are on pre-payment basis and move to post-payment after the first mow. You’ll receive a link on email to pay by card (with no card surcharge!) or pay cash before commencement of first mow.

 

Can you mow while nobody is home? Yes, we can. This is quite normal – most people are at work during the day. We just need access to the rear of the property, and any pets need to be secured.
